The Santa Clara City Library has expanded its prizes for Summer Reading<\/a> this year.<\/p>\n

Everyone who signs up is eligible for a weekly prize raffle, a prize to pick up in August, and a raffle for a grand prize. It’s a lot!<\/p>\n

Kids Prizes<\/h3>\n

Kids (12 and under) who win the weekly raffle will get to pick a prize from the treasure box. Kids who participate at any level in summer reading get to pick a book in August. There’s also a grand prize raffle for all kids who participate in summer reading to win an annual pass to The Santa Clara County Parks<\/a>. See a flyer for the kids prizes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Teen Prizes<\/h3>\n

Teens (13-18) who win the weekly raffle will get to pick a book. Teens who participate at any level in summer reading get a free Stan’s donut<\/a> in August. There’s also a grand prize raffle for all teens who participate in summer reading to win their choice of: an art box, a gaming box, a ukulele box, or a Nintendo Switch Lite.\u00a0See a flyer for the teen prizes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Adult Prizes<\/h3>\n

Adults (18+) who win the weekly raffle will get a free device charger. Adults who participate at any level in summer reading get a coupon for a free item at the Friends of the Library Bookstore<\/a>\u00a0in August. There’s also a grand prize raffle for all teens who participate in summer reading to win an annual National Parks Pass<\/a>.\u00a0See a flyer for the adult prizes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

How to enter<\/h3>\n

You get entered once in the drawings when you sign up for summer reading<\/a>. You can earn more tickets in the raffle when you read more days or participate in activities on the second page of the summer reading map<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Take advantage of these incentives to read more this summer and sign up for Summer Reading! It’s a great program and a great excuse to curl up with your beach read.<\/p>\n
